Serving as the Marketing Director at ARtGlass, Queen Thomas has spent over three years imparting her extensive expertise.Her crucial role in the successful promotion of ARtGlass has enabled an increased number of cultural and historic sites to benefit from their state-of-the-art AR software. Her path with the company started in client service relations and as a Junior Project Director, eventually propelling her to her current position. She has been involved in launching various historic projects, providing operational support and training at Madame Tussaud’s, Sea Life Aquarium, Monument Avenue, and Mt. Vernon. At present, she’s focusing on Social Media marketing, Email campaigns, and Conference setup.
A native of Sarasota, Florida, Queen now calls Richmond, Virginia, her home. Presently, she is studying at BrightPoint College and VCU, seeking a degree in Psychology, emphasizing her dedication to making a positive societal impact and addressing significant gaps, such as mental health services for Black people and POC. With a skill set that covers cultural site operations and digital production, Queen’s contributions continue to enhance the cultural sector every day.
Queen relishes her involvement in the cultural sector, from exploring diverse heritages and cultures to assisting in telling their stories through ARtGlass. The chance to delve into the history of varied cultures, witnessing firsthand the passion and unique viewpoints of their people, brings her immense gratification. Ever-eager to hone her abilities, Queen is an advocate for constant professional growth and evolution.
When she takes a break from her professional responsibilities, Queen loves to sing, engage in graphic/presentation design, and spend time in nature, particularly in close proximity to water.
