Luigi Percuoco is a seasoned technologist and the Cofounder and Chief Technology Officer of ARtGlass. Hailing from Naples, Luigi has always been immersed in and fascinated by the lives and artifacts of ancient civilizations. In contrast to these classical surroundings, Luigi pursued degrees in computer science and business administration, going on to hold managerial roles in innovative technology at multinational companies such as IBM, Fiat group, IGT, Bull, and Lottomatica.
Despite the seeming gulf between the ancient and emerging, Luigi found a way to combine his two loves by founding ARtGlass. With a rich background in gaming and augmented reality (AR) technology, Luigi has taken his remarkable talent for developing cutting-edge solutions and applied them to museums, archaeological parks, and other cultural sites, propelling the extended reality industry forward while leaving a lasting impact on cultural heritage and entertainment.
Holding degrees in computer science and corporate finance, Luigi plays critical roles in the company’s technological and business developments. Further, Luigi has led on-the-ground logistics and operations at notable sites across Italy, including Pompeii Archaeological Park and the Herculaneum.
